Ash of War: Shriek of Sorrow is an Ash of War and Upgrade Material in Elden Ring. It is a brand new Ash of War in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. Ash of War: Shriek of Sorrow provides Occult affinity and the Shriek of Sorrow Skill. Ashes of War can be equipped on Weapons and Shields to modify the Skill or an equipment, or to apply affinities that modify scaling values.

This Ash of War grants an armament the Occult affinity and the following skill:
`Shriek of Sorrow: Skill utilized by the downtrodden. Scream, causing nearby enemies to flinch, while also recalling deep-seated resentment, boosting attack power based on the amount of HP remaining. The lower the HP, the greater the effect.`
Usable on all melee armaments.
Bring yourself down to 30% with a Weapon that has Seppuku and then use Shriek of Sorrow before healing and starting a fight give yourself a massive initial damage boost.
