Gilded Greatshield is a Greatshield in Elden Ring. The Gilded Greatshield is a Shield that scales primarily with Strength. Greatshields weigh a decent amount and provide the best protection in the game. Greatshields provide a greater value of blocking and protecting one's self from enemy and boss attacks, but greatly increases the weight and reduces the player's mobility. This type of shield works best at reducing damage or guarding instead of parrying.
Metal greatshield coated with gold. Carried by knights loyal to
Godrick.
The red tinge in the gold coat mirrors the primordial matter that
became the Erdtree. The color of homeward yearning.
Elden Ring Gilded Greatshield Notes & Tips
- Shield Skill: This armament has no skill. If the armament in the other hand has a skill, that skill will be used instead.
- This shield can be infused with Ashes of War and buffed with Magic and Consumables
- Sell Value: 200
- Its weight and the Strength requirement require a large investment, you don't want to rush because you need Vigor on top of that to survive, but when you can wield it's a great shield, one of the best in its weight category between it and the golden, minor differences in stats so go for what you think is best looking
- NOTE: As of Patch 1.09, the scaling values of this weapon were changed. Please refer to the Upgrades Table of this weapon below.
