Elden Ring Troll's Roar Guide, Notes & Tips
- This is an Ash of War Skill, associated with the Ash of War: Troll's Roar.
- FP Cost: 22 on use.
- This Skill is not Chargeable
- This Skill cannot be Parried
- Upon activation, the user winds up before unleashing an almighty roar that sends a shockwave in a sphere surrounding the user.
- Using the Strong Attack button after the roar allows for a follow up, where the user slams their weapon into the ground.
- This follow up does not consume any FP.
- This attack is extremely slow and telegraphed, but deals significantly more damage than the roar.
- The skill deals 40 Stance Damage on a close-range hit, and 11 Stance Damage on the outer part of the roar.
- The follow-up attack deals 33 to 45 Stance Damage, depending on the weapon type. Greatswords deal the least, and Colossal Weapons deal the most.
- The roar consists of two components. The inner roar deals strike damage while the outer roar deals standard damage.
- Like all roar type attacks, they deal much lower damage than most skills.
- Damage increases with Base Damage and Strength Scaling
- Roar Medallion will increase its damage by 15%.
- This stacks with Highlander Axe.
- If used without FP:
- No spheric shockwave comes out.
- Follow up slam deals reduced damage.
- The reduced damage applies even though the slam itself does not consume FP.
