Warped Axe is an Axe in Elden Ring. The Warped Axe scales primarily with Strength and is a good Weapon for melee users who want to deal considerable damage with each swing.

• This weapon can be infused with Ashes of War
• Warped Axe can be upgraded by using Smithing Stones.
• This weapon has unique R1 and R2 chains, shared with the Ripple Blade. 
  • Both chains are unique in that they utilize both sides of the double sided axe blade.  This translates to reduced overall time between attacks, particularly on the 2nd and 4th hit of the combo.

• Base drop rate is 4% (at 100 Discovery)
• The Strength scaling for this Weapon is abnormally high across all of its infusions. For example, it still retains a D in Strength scaling when Lightning infused.
• This weapon has status build up values consistent with Great Axes on the Cold, Poison and Blood infusions, which are markedly higher than those of regular axes. As such it is a great choice for builds trying to utilise those status effects.
  • The Ash of War: Wild Strikes, Ash of War: Sword Dance, or Ash of War: Spinning Weapon (Only useable for Cold infusion in this context), are thus  good choices for this weapon for repeated hits and thus status application.
  • Or, one can powerstance this blood infused weapon in the off-hand with a Ripple Axe on an Arcane Build, utilising Poison Grease on the Ripple Axe, which applies its S-Scaling in Arcane to status build up from greases, resulting is massive dual status build up.
• With Occult infusion, this weapon offers B scaling on Strength and Arcane. While it lacks the status effect buildup, it offers high Attack Rating and decent scaling without any investment on Dexterity, making it suitable for Strength Arcane builds. At 34 Strength and 60 Arcane, it has 661 AR at +25.
• NOTE: As of Patch 1.08, the speed and distance of some attacks have been increased and the recovery time has been reduced. Also the stagger damage of Axes’ guard counters has been increased. PVP's poise damage has also been reduced with this patch.
