Lion's Claw is a Skill in Elden Ring. Lion's Claw is a skill found on the Claymore which allows players to somersault towards enemies while dealing damage.

Skill of the Redmanes, who fought alongside the General Radahn.
Somersault forwards, striking foes with armament.

  • This is an Ash of War Skill, associated with the Ash of War: Lion's Claw
  • FP Cost: 20 
  • Can be used on Swords, Axes, and Hammers (small armaments and Thrusting Swords excepted).
  • This Skill not Chargeable.
  • This Skill cannot be Parried
  • Stance damage is dependent on weapon:
    • 30 (w/ Straight Swords, Curved Swords, Katanas, and Axes)
    • 33 (w/ Greatswords, Curved Greatswords, and Greataxes)
    • 36 (w/ Flails, Colossal Weapons (non-Hammers), and Colossal Swords)
    • 39 (w/ Hammers)
    • 42 (w/ Great Hammers)
      • 2x Lion's Claw used in rapid succession with a Great Hammer is sufficient to stagger bosses with 80 stance or below.
    • 45 (w/ Colossal Weapons (Hammers))
  • The initial startup where you crouch and prepare to leap into the air seems to grant you super armor which is not interruptable aside from special attacks like grabs.
  • Physical damage portion dealt it is based on the main damage type of the weapon, e.g. on a greatsword it would deal standard damage while on a morningstar it would deal strike damage.
