Shotel is a Curved Sword in Elden Ring. The Shotel scales primarily with Strength and Dexterity and is a good Weapon for melee attacks and dealing damage with body spins by using the Spinning Slash skill.

Elden Ring Shotel Notes & Tips
- Weapon Skill: Spinning Slash
- This weapon can be infused with Ashes of War
- Shotel can be upgraded by using Smithing Stones
- Sell Value: 100
- Anti-block: ignores 40% damage negation from blocks, heavy- and charge attacks ignores more
- It is 2lbs (which may be the lightest non-dagger/fist) and the Heavy attacks have a higher damage level which most other curved swords do not have.
- Due to the low AR (about 50 - 60 less than other Curved Swords) this is a status effect weapon where you should on focus on Bleed/Poison (preferably bleed).
- NOTE: As of Patch 1.08, poise damage has been reduced, but only for PVP.
- NOTE: As of Patch 1.09, the scaling values of this weapon were changed. Please refer to the Upgrades Table of this weapon below. Additionally, the running attack speed, first attack speed of straight sword has increased. The attack recovery time has also decreased.
